For students on the Leaders in Health Innovations track, research is a core strand of the curriculum rather than an optional hobby. It is where healthcare innovation education at Sechenov becomes practical: students learn how questions are asked, tested and shared with the scientific community. Finding a question worth asking<\/h2>\n

Every project starts with curiosity. Sechenov University concentrates on several research directions, among them genomics, proteomics, regenerative medicine, neuroscience and artificial intelligence in medicine. The program includes additional research disciplines that help students understand methodology before they commit to a topic. Guidance from leading researchers and practicing clinicians, together with a personal curator, helps turn a broad interest into a focused question.<\/p>\n

Working in the laboratory<\/h2>\n

Students on the track have access to the university’s laboratories and research base. The research block covers both fundamental studies, which explore how biological systems work, and applied ones, which look for ways to use that knowledge in diagnosis or treatment. Because the university combines physicians, biologists, engineers and IT specialists, a student project may draw on several of these fields at once.<\/p>\n

Defending and publishing results<\/h2>\n
